Pierre de Coubertin once said, 'The important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win, but to take part; the important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle; the essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well'.
It's surprising how many people think this applies to business. Otherwise, I can't explain those who love to organize watercoolers, hold zoom-meetings for hours, make beautiful presentations, have scrum meetings, and engage in other nonsense aside from releasing the best products.
It doesn't matter how long you worked, how many documents you created, how big your team was, or how clever your client presentation sounded if the result is miserable.
No matter how many methods and tools you use, the key is to turn your ideas into products people will actually use.
It's useful to maintain order in your work, but don't forget why you are doing all this. Even the smallest idea brought to life is worth more than the grandest dream that remains on paper.
